Centro Historico (historic city center) is the place best known for wonderful architecture and museums. The area is the major tourist attraction. Some of the attractions include Plaza de la Constitucion or Zocalo, Palacio Nacional, Cathedral, Sagrario Metropolitano, Nacional Monte de Piedad, City Hall, Aztec Ruins of Templo Mayor, Museo Nacional de Arte, Museo Franz Mayer, Museo del Templo Mayor, and Museo Postal.
